Lindsay WildLife Museum

On Sunday we went to the Lindsay Wildlife Museum in Walnut Creek. Mom and the kids went with us and it was a lot of fun. All of the animals where found injured and they were rehabilitated. The ones they had at the museum were all unable to be released in to the wild. A lot of the birds only had one wing. There was a few owls, a bald eagle, and a few hawks. We also seen a gray fox, possum, turtle, snakes, and a few other animals. The biggest treat was a mountain lion. She was kept as a pet and chained in a backyard. The owner declawed her to handle her better. The owner went out of town and asked a neighborhood boy to feed her. The boy knew she was not a pet and called the police. The mountain lion was beautiful.

After the museum we went to lunch at Albertos in Blackhawk. The food was great and its next to a pond with ducks and huge coy. We sat outside and it was beautiful. We also had them sing to Madison for her birthday. They gave her a hat and ice cream. It was a lot of fun.
